This is the Porsche 917LH 4.5L #25 1970 24h Le Mans (pole Position) in 1:18 scale by WERK83.

The Porsche 917LH 4.5L No. 25, entered by Porsche System Engineering, secured pole position at the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans with drivers Vic Elford and Kurt Ahrens behind the wheel. This long-tail (Langheck) version of the 917 was optimized for top speed on the Mulsanne Straight, reaching over 240 mph. Vic Elford, a versatile British racer known for his prowess in both rallying and circuit racing, and Kurt Ahrens, a skilled German driver and Porsche test specialist, exploited the car's aerodynamic efficiency to dominate qualifying. Although mechanical issues forced their retirement during the race, their pole-setting performance underscored the 917LH’s raw pace. What made this Le Mans edition historic was Porsche's first overall victory—achieved by a different 917—marking the beginning of Porsche's long reign at La Sarthe and highlighting the fine line between innovation and endurance in motorsport.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. These diecast
models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Interior detail is hand assembled and easily
visible. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for a most
authentic replication.
