This is the Opel #2 Winner 1982 Rally Monte Carlo (night version) in 1:18 scale by WERK 83.

The Opel Ascona 400 Rothmans No. 2, driven by rally legend Walter Röhrl with co-driver Christian Geistdörfer, secured a famous victory at the 1982 Rally Monte-Carlo. Röhrl, known for his precision and calm under pressure, mastered the treacherous mix of snow, ice, and dry tarmac that defines Monte-Carlo’s unpredictability. What made this win particularly special was that Röhrl defeated the more advanced four-wheel-drive Audi Quattro using a rear-wheel-drive Opel—an achievement that highlighted his exceptional skill and remains one of the most iconic upsets in rally history.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. These diecast
models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Interior detail is hand assembled and easily
visible. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for a most
authentic replication.
