The Ford Mustang GT3 #64 competed in the 2025 IMSA Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) with Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx sharing the driving duties. The pair finished second in GTD PRO, giving the Mustang GT3 its season-best result at VIR at that point in the 2025 season. The #64 is especially distinctive because the Mustang GT3 is a purpose-built seventh-generation Mustang race car, featuring a 5.4-liter naturally aspirated V8, carbon-fiber bodywork, and rear-mounted transaxle—a combination designed specifically for professional GT racing rather than simply adapting a road car for competition.
