This is the Lotus 99T #12 Ayrton Senna 1987 Monaco Grand Prix Winner in 1:12 scale by True scale Miniatures.

At the tight and unforgiving streets of Monte Carlo in 1987, Senna delivered a masterclass behind the wheel of the Lotus 99T #12, a groundbreaking car equipped with Honda’s turbocharged V6 and innovative active suspension—a system that allowed optimal ride height and tire contact through the Monaco bumps, enabling lower aerodynamic drag and higher straight-line speed. Although Nigel Mansell initially led, his sudden retirement on lap 29 handed the lead to Senna, who maintained control with relentless precision, going on to lap the entire field en route to victory—his first at Monaco and the first win ever by a car using active suspension. The result was a defining moment in motorsport, as Senna became the first Brazilian to win at Monaco, earning the title "Monaco Meister" and solidifying his legacy as one of the greatest drivers the Principality has ever witnessed. This win not only showcased Senna’s raw talent and Lotus’s engineering daring but also launched a long and storied association between the Brazilian and Monte Carlo.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
