This is the Mercedes Benz CLK #6 2000 DTM Season Marcel Fassler in 1:18 scale by Top Marques.

The Mercedes-Benz CLK-DTM #6, driven by Swiss rising star Marcel Fässler for Warsteiner AMG-Mercedes in the inaugural 2000 DTM season, was one of the standout cars of Mercedes-Benz’s championship comeback. Fässler made an impressive DTM debut, finishing second in both races at Hockenheim, followed by four more podiums, and ended the championship fourth overall with 116 points. The #6 was a purpose-built silhouette racer with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 producing about 450 hp, rear-wheel drive, racing aerodynamics, and a lightweight competition chassis rather than a modified road-car platform. Its Warsteiner livery and chassis RS00-005 make Fässler’s car particularly significant; Mercedes retained it after the season for promotional use, and it remains a notable survivor from the first year of the modern DTM.

Top Marques produces high-end 1:18 and 1:12 scale model cars that are generally regarded as premium collector pieces. Most of their models are resin replicas, which allows for very sharp body lines, accurate proportions, and high-quality paint finishes that closely replicate the real vehicles. Their larger 1:12 scale models especially showcase extensive detailing, sometimes including removable parts and carefully reproduced engines, while many of their 1:18 models are sealed display pieces designed primarily for visual accuracy rather than opening features. Produced in limited editions, Top Marques models are often sought after by collectors for their craftsmanship, rarity, and focus on historically significant racing and exotic cars.
