The 2018 “Rally Train” Ford Escort RS Cosworth #43 was one of the most outrageous creations driven by Ken Block, built specifically for his viral Climbkhana film shot on the steep roads of Oregon’s Mount Hood region. The car was based on the legendary Escort RS Cosworth but heavily modified by Hoonigan Racing with a custom widebody design, massive aerodynamic package, and a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing nearly 900 horsepower. What truly set the #43 Escort apart was its extreme combination of vintage rally styling and modern hill-climb performance engineering, allowing Block to drift at incredible speeds while launching flames and gravel across narrow mountain roads. Its aggressive stance, enormous rear wing, and signature black-and-green Hoonigan livery made it one of the most recognizable and celebrated rally builds of the modern era.
