The 1996 Ferrari F50 GT is one of the rarest and most extreme Ferrari racing prototypes ever created, developed as a competition version of the F50 for the FIA GT Championship. Unlike the road-going F50, the F50 GT featured a highly modified carbon-fiber chassis, aggressive aerodynamic bodywork, racing slicks, and a 4.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 derived from Ferrari's Formula 1 technology, producing well over 700 horsepower. What makes the F50 GT truly unique is that Ferrari ultimately cancelled the racing program before it competed, and only three complete examples were built, making it an exceptionally rare piece of Ferrari history. With its combination of Formula 1-inspired engineering, extreme aerodynamics, and extraordinary scarcity, the F50 GT remains one of the most fascinating “what-if” race cars in Ferrari's history.
