This is the Lancia 037 Rally Sanremo 1983 Tabaton/Tedechini in 1:18 scale by Spark.
The Lancia 037 Rally driven by Fabrizio Tabaton and Luciano Tedeschini was one of the standout privateer Group B combinations of the 1983 Sanremo Rally. Tabaton was a talented Italian driver who would later become a two-time European Rally Champion, while Tedeschini was his regular co-driver during this period. The 037 was especially unique because it remained rear-wheel drive while rivals such as the Audi Quattro were adopting four-wheel drive; its mid-mounted 2.0-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine, lightweight tubular chassis, and superb balance made it exceptionally effective on asphalt. Tabaton and Tedeschini unfortunately retired from the 1983 Sanremo after an accident, but the car demonstrated why the 037 was capable of competing with—and defeating—more technically complex four-wheel-drive machinery.
Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Polished to a beautiful finish Exceptionally
accurate scale and shape. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, such as hand
cast resin, diecast and injected molded thermoplastics. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing
and waterslide decals are also used. Spark ensures the absolute best quality possible.
