The Ford Super Mustang Mach-E No. 125 was driven by French star Romain Dumas to overall victory at the 2026 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, conquering the 12.42-mile course in 8:18.202—Dumas’ sixth overall Pikes Peak victory. Dumas, a three-time Le Mans winner and one of the world’s leading hill-climb specialists, used his experience with extreme electric prototypes to exploit the Mach-E’s tremendous performance. The Super Mustang Mach-E is far removed from a production SUV, using a tri-motor electric powertrain producing about 1,400 hp in Pikes Peak specification, with massive aerodynamic surfaces generating approximately 6,900 pounds of downforce at 150 mph. Its carbon brakes, forged-magnesium wheels, Pirelli tires, and extreme aero package make it a purpose-built electric hill-climb weapon rather than a conventional road car, helping make its 2026 victory one of Ford’s most impressive electric racing achievements.
