Dumas, a three-time Le Mans winner and former Pikes Peak record holder, demonstrated remarkable composure when the truck suffered a power issue early in the climb; he stopped, reset the system, and continued to victory. The SuperTruck was anything but a conventional pickup: this one-off electric demonstrator produced approximately 1,600 horsepower and could generate more than 6,000 pounds of aerodynamic downforce through its enormous wings, splitters, and underbody aero.
