The Callaway Corvette LM GT2 No. 60 competed in the 1997 24 Hours of Le Mans with drivers Eric Graham, Alessandro Copelli, and Roberto Agusta. The Callaway Corvette program was created by American engineer and tuner Reeves Callaway, transforming the Chevrolet Corvette C4 into a purpose-built GT racer capable of competing against Europe’s best sports cars. The No. 60 car featured extensive aerodynamic development, a lightweight competition chassis, and a highly tuned version of Chevrolet’s legendary 5.7-liter V8, combining American power with European endurance racing preparation. Its uniqueness came from Callaway’s ability to blend Corvette reliability and torque with advanced racing technology, creating a distinctive GT2 contender that challenged established Porsche and Ferrari race cars at Le Mans. Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Each model is created using a variety of
production processes, such as hand cast resin, diecast and injected molded thermoplastics.Photo etched
parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used. Spark ensures the absolute best
quality possible. Each model comes with its own acrylic display case.
