This is the BMW Alpina 2800 CS No.22 Winner 24H Nürburgring 1972 Kelleners/Pankl in 1:18 scale by Spark.

In the 1972 24 Hours of Nürburgring, the BMW Alpina 2800 CS No. 22, driven by experienced German racers Helmut Kelleners and Gerold Pankl, took a remarkable overall victory around the fearsome Nordschleife, completing 145 laps to lead a strong field of touring cars. Kelleners and Pankl were seasoned Nürburgring campaigners known for their toughness and consistency in endurance events, and their win in the heavy‑but‑durable 2800 CS marked BMW‑Alpina’s first overall triumph in this classic 24‑hour race. Unlike many purpose‑built race cars, the Alpina‑prepared 2800 CS was based on BMW’s elegant grand touring coupe but extensively modified with enhanced suspension, higher‑output six‑cylinder engine, and racing‑ready components that helped it endure the brutal bumps and variability of the Nordschleife — standing out in a race where reliability and driver stamina often mattered more than outright power.
