1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Black 1:64

loading...

The 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz is one of the most recognizable symbols of America’s 1950s automotive “Jet Age,” famous for its enormous tailfins, twin bullet-shaped taillamps, lavish chrome, and sweeping 225-inch body. Its 390-cubic-inch V8 produced 345 horsepower through a triple two-barrel carburetor setup, giving this 5,000-pound luxury convertible surprisingly strong performance. What truly set the Biarritz apart was its extravagant combination of styling and technology, including power windows, power seats, power locks, air-assisted suspension, automatic trunk release, and numerous other standard luxury features. With only 1,320 Biarritz convertibles produced, the 1959 model remains the quintessential Cadillac of the tail-fin era and one of the most dramatic American cars ever built.
