This is the Ferrari 512S No. 8 Le Mans 24H 1970 A. Merzario/ C. Regazzoni in 1:43 scale by Looksmart.

The Ferrari 512S No. 8 was driven by Ferrari factory stars Arturo Merzario and Clay Regazzoni at the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans. Merzario was a fearless Italian sports-car specialist nicknamed “Little Bear,” while Swiss driver Regazzoni was a rising Ferrari star who would become a Formula 1 Grand Prix winner and finish runner-up in the 1974 World Championship. The 512S was Ferrari’s spectacular answer to the Porsche 917, featuring a lightweight tubular-steel chassis, independent suspension, and a massive 5.0-liter V12 producing approximately 550 horsepower. Its long, low wedge-shaped body was designed around the extreme speeds of Le Mans, while the mid-engine layout provided impressive traction and balance. With its screaming V12, dramatic proportions, and distinctive Ferrari engineering, the 512S remains one of the most recognizable and powerful sports prototypes of the early 1970s.
