What made the Special Estate Wagon stand out from more conventional Ford and Chevrolet wagons was its combination of full-size Buick luxury, powerful V8 performance, generous cargo space, and sophisticated styling. Only about 7,031 Special Estate Wagons were produced for 1957, adding a degree of rarity that makes this flashy 1950s wagon particularly appealing to collectors today.
