At the 2022 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa, the Porsche 911 GT3 R #221 fielded by GPX Martini Racing and piloted by Richard Lietz, Michael Christensen, and Kévin Estre competed in the tough Pro Cup class around the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps — a high-speed Belgian Ardennes roller-coaster famous for its undulating layout and unpredictable weather. The car was styled in a striking Martini-inspired livery paying homage to Porsche’s historic racing heritage, and the trio of established factory-level drivers brought vast experience from World Endurance Championship and GT racing to the event. Although the #221 did not finish due to a mechanical issue after many laps of competitive running, their effort underlined the immense challenge of Spa’s 24-hour marathon, where traffic, rain, night driving, and the physical Grand Prix circuit combine to make this one of the world’s most grueling endurance races — far apart from shorter sprint or traditional championship rounds.
This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. These diecast
