The Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) #55 of Hankook Competition was a Pro-Am entry in the 2025 ADAC RAVENOL 24 Hours of Nürburgring, driven by Roelof Bruins, Marco Holzer, Steven Cho, and Kim Jong-kyum. The team delivered an impressive endurance performance, finishing ninth overall after completing 24 hours on the demanding Nürburgring Nordschleife. The four drivers brought a blend of international GT racing experience and determination to the event. Holzer, a seasoned Porsche racer, helped guide the team through the challenging race, while Bruins, Cho, and Kim contributed to a consistent effort over the marathon distance. The #55 Porsche was particularly notable because this was Hankook Competition’s first appearance with a GT3 racing car, making its top-ten finish a significant achievement. The 992-generation GT3 R features a rear-mounted, naturally aspirated 4.2-liter flat-six engine, rear-wheel drive, a sophisticated aerodynamic package, and race-developed suspension. Built to withstand extreme demands, it must handle the Nordschleife’s blind crests, narrow sections, elevation changes, and unpredictable weather. For collectors, the #55 represents a memorable combination of Porsche engineering, Hankook Competition’s debut in GT3 racing, and a strong ninth-place finish in one of endurance motorsport’s toughest events.
