The 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 R (991.2) No. 8, entered by IronForce by Ring Police, competed in the 47th 24 Hours of Nürburgring with drivers Jan-Erik Slooten, Lucas Luhr, Adrien de Leener, and Steve Jans. The newly developed 991.2 GT3 R featured a rear-mounted, naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing more than 500 horsepower, along with revised aerodynamics, improved suspension geometry, and enhanced handling. Starting 24th on the grid, the IronForce Porsche battled through the demanding 24-hour endurance race, overcoming a time penalty to finish 11th overall and fourth in the Pro-Am class. Its distinctive IronForce identity and determined performance made the No. 8 a memorable Porsche customer-racing entry at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife.
