This is the Lotus F1 43 #7 1967 South Africa GP Jim Clark in 1:18 scale by GP Replicas.

The Lotus 43, entered by Scuderia Lotus as car #7, was driven by the legendary Jim Clark at the 1967 South African Grand Prix at Kyalami, a race that marked the opening round of the season. Clark, known for his smooth, fearless driving and technical brilliance, was already a two-time World Champion by then. The race was unique as it was the debut of the newly upgraded Kyalami circuit in the F1 calendar and one of the last appearances of the heavy, complex H16 BRM engine in the Lotus 43 chassis. Though Clark ultimately retired due to mechanical failure, his presence and performance exemplified the transition period of Formula One, where engineering innovation was rapidly reshaping the sport.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
