This is the Ferrari #12 Indy 500 1952 Alberto Ascari in 1:24 scale w/ Showcase by Edicola.

The Ferrari #12, driven by Alberto Ascari in the 1952 Indianapolis 500, marked Ferrari's first official attempt to compete in America's greatest open-wheel race. Ascari, who would go on to become a two-time Formula 1 World Champion, was renowned for his smooth driving style, exceptional precision, and remarkable consistency behind the wheel. His car, based on the Ferrari 375 Indianapolis, stood apart from the predominantly American roadsters by featuring a powerful 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine and unmistakable Italian engineering philosophy. While Ascari retired with mechanical issues, Ferrari's bold entry demonstrated that European Grand Prix technology could challenge the established American teams, helping pave the way for greater international participation in the Indianapolis 500.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. These diecast
models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Interior detail is hand assembled and easily
visible. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for a most
authentic replication.
