This is the Alfa Romeo G1 Spider #11 1921 Mille Miglia Red in 1:43 scale.

The Alfa Romeo G1 Spider #11, entered in the 1921 Mille Miglia, represents one of the earliest chapters in Alfa Romeo’s storied racing history, although technically the Mille Miglia was first held in 1927—so the G1 instead competed in other period endurance road events like the Coppa del Garda or Targa Florio. Driven by early Alfa racers such as Giuseppe Campari, the G1 was notable for its massive 6.3-liter straight-6 engine—an unusually large powerplant for the era, delivering formidable torque and speed on dusty Italian roads. What set these early races apart was their raw challenge: competitors tackled hundreds of kilometers on rough, public roads without modern safety measures, demanding extraordinary skill and bravery. The G1’s participation laid the groundwork for Alfa Romeo’s dominance in pre-war racing and helped forge its reputation for building powerful, driver-focused machines.
