This is the Porsche 917 Long Tail #25 1970 Le Mans Elford/Ahrens in 1:12 scale by CMR.

At the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans, the No.25 Porsche 917 LH “Long Tail” was driven by Vic Elford and Kurt Ahrens, both highly skilled Porsche factory drivers renowned for their versatility across endurance racing and rallying. Elford was especially respected for his fearless commitment and technical feedback, while Ahrens brought speed and consistency to Porsche’s prototype program. What set the 917 LH apart from other race cars was its extreme long-tail aerodynamic bodywork, designed specifically to minimize drag and achieve extraordinary top speeds on Le Mans’ Mulsanne Straight. Combined with a powerful flat-12 engine producing well over 580 horsepower, the lightweight 917 LH became one of the fastest and most advanced endurance racers of its time, capable of nearly 240 mph and forever cementing its legendary status in motorsport history.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. These diecast
models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Interior detail is hand assembled and easily
visible. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for a most
authentic replication.
