At the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix, Lando Norris showcased the precision and confidence that would eventually carry him to the World Championship while driving the McLaren MCL39 for McLaren. Norris delivered a composed performance around the tight streets of Monte Carlo, where accuracy and tire control are more important than outright power. What set the MCL39 apart from other race cars at Monaco was its exceptional low-speed aerodynamic efficiency and mechanical grip, giving the car superb traction and responsiveness through the circuit’s narrow corners and elevation changes. Combined with Norris’s smooth driving style and confidence under pressure, the McLaren proved to be one of the most effective and balanced machines on the grid during his championship-winning 2025 campaign.
