His best outings included strong qualifying in Bahrain (P4) and a solid recovery to P6 at Silverstone, demonstrating resilience amid Alpine’s technical struggles. Overall, it was a campaign of grinding valuable points despite the underperforming A525, with Gasly keeping Alpine competitive in midfield.
🔶 Franco Colapinto – Alpine #43 (rotating entry)
After serving as Alpine’s reserve, Colapinto took over the second seat mid-season following Jack Doohan’s demotion He debuted at Imola, navigating a heavy Q crash to finish 16th, then managed a P13 in Monaco despite starting last. He also out-qualified teammate Gasly at the Canadian GP, holding position to P13 in the race. While his rookie campaign was entangled with errors and a tough car, his raw pace—backed by strong junior results—kept him in contention for a future full-time seat
