This is the Ferrari 330 GTO 24H Le Mans 1962 #7 in 1:18 scale by BBR

On November 13, 2023, a rare 1962 Ferrari 330 LM / 250 GTO by Scaglietti crossed the auction block at RM Sotheby's in New York City, fetching an astounding $51.7 million, making it the most expensive car ever sold at public auction.

The Auctioned Ferrari 330 GTO, chassis number 3765, is unique for several reasons:

    • Originally equipped with a 4-liter engine: This is the only Ferrari GTO example ever built with this displacement, making it even more valuable and desirable.
    • Factory-entered by Scuderia Ferrari: The car was one of four officially entered by Ferrari for the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans, driven by Lorenzo Bandini and Mike Parkes.
    • Exceptional racing history: In addition to Le Mans, the car competed in numerous other races throughout the 1960s, achieving several podium finishes.
  • Highly original condition: The car has undergone only one restoration and remains largely in its original state, further enhancing its value.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. BBR models are  known for their accuracy of scale, shape and detail throughout the industry. Each model is created using  a variety of production processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite  material referred to in the industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and  waterslide decals are often used for the most authentic replication.

BBR models are usually produced in very small production quantities that often sell out at "pre-order"
