The 2002 San Marino Grand Prix, on April 14 at the Imola circuit, was a triumph for Ferrari thanks to the one-two, with Michael Schumacher taking the win ahead of his teammate Rubens Barrichello, confirming the positions gained after practice.
These results strengthened the lead in both the drivers' championship with Michael Schumacher and the constructors' championship for Ferrari.
