1970 Pontiac GTO Atoll Blue Vinyl Top 1:18

loading...

The 1970 Pontiac GTO was one of the defining American muscle cars of its era, receiving a dramatic redesign with a bold split-grille front end, exposed quad headlights, sculpted body lines, and the iconic Endura bumper. Under the hood, Pontiac offered several high-performance V8s, including the 400-cubic-inch Ram Air III rated at 366 horsepower, the rare Ram Air IV at 370 horsepower, and a new 455-cubic-inch V8 producing 360 horsepower and a massive 500 lb-ft of torque. What made the 1970 GTO particularly distinctive was its unusual Vacuum Operated Exhaust (VOE) option, allowing the driver to open exhaust valves from inside the car for a more aggressive exhaust note and reduced restriction. Combined with its available Judge package, performance suspension, and unmistakable styling, the 1970 GTO exemplified Pontiac's approach to combining street performance with dramatic muscle-car character.
