This is the #6 1952 Hudson Hornet - Fabulous Hudson Hornet Marshall Teague in 1:18 scale by Acme Diecast.

The 1952 Hudson Hornet, famously nicknamed the “Fabulous Hudson Hornet,” became a dominant force in early American stock car racing, driven by legends like Marshall Teague. Teague, a pioneering driver and mechanic, played a key role in developing the car and famously branded it with its iconic name, going on to win numerous races and championships in the early 1950s. What truly set the Hornet apart from other race cars of its era was its revolutionary “step-down” unibody design, which gave it a lower center of gravity and superior handling compared to heavier, body-on-frame rivals. Combined with its powerful inline-six engine and excellent balance, the Hornet could out-corner and often outpace more powerful V8 competitors, helping Hudson achieve remarkable dominance in NASCAR and AAA competition from 1951 to 1954.

With its high-end trim and straight-six engine, the Hudson Hornet was an unlikely car to win trophies; but a cleverly designed body, with a low center of gravity and good front/rear balance, made it a menace on the track. One of the most important people to drive the Hudson Hornet is Marshall Teague. In fact, it was Marshall who is said to have nicknamed the car the “Fabulous Hudson Hornet.” He won multiple major titles with the car.
