The Bugatti Veyron L'Edition Centenaire in Racing Green Malcolm Campbell Model is a limited-edition supercar that was produced in 2009 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Bugatti's founding. It is named after Sir Malcolm Campbell, a British racing driver who set several world land speed records in Bugatti cars in the 1920s and 1930s.

The L'Edition Centenaire is based on the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, but it features a number of unique upgrades, including a more powerful engine, a revised suspension, and a more aerodynamic body. The car is also finished in a special Racing Green paint color that is reminiscent of the Bugatti cars that Campbell raced.

The L'Edition Centenaire is powered by a quad-turbocharged W16 engine that produces 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 267 mph.

Malcolm Campbell and Bugatti

Sir Malcolm Campbell was a British racing driver who set seven world land speed records between 1924 and 1935. He was the first person to drive over 200 mph and 300 mph, and he held the world land speed record for over 11 years.

Campbell raced for Bugatti on several occasions, and he achieved his greatest successes in Bugatti cars. In 1928, he won the Blue Riband award for the fastest Atlantic crossing in the SS Conte Biancamano. In 1931, he broke the world land speed record in the Bugatti Type 51, reaching a speed of 245.33 mph. In 1933, he broke the world land speed record again in the Bugatti Type 59, reaching a speed of 272.46 mph.

Campbell was a true pioneer of motorsport, and he is considered to be one of the greatest racing drivers of all time. His achievements in Bugatti cars helped to cement the French automaker's reputation as a leading builder of high-performance supercars.
