This is the Space Shuttle Endeavour faithfully replicated in 1:144 scale. This impressive miniature will be a conversation piece for years to come. The model includes a custom base with name plate for displaying this historic piece. The base also has two small spotlights that are adjustable. They can be powered by four AA batteries (not included) Just like the real thing, it has an external fuel tank and two solid rocket boosters. The cargo bay door opens also. Originally launched in 1981, Endeavor has flown over 140 space missions. It is scheduled to be retired in 2010. Also included in the appropriate scale is the NASA van and 7 astronaut figurines so you can create the ultimate space shuttle display or diorama.
