July 24, 1938 marked the greatest day in the racing career of Richard ”Dick“ Seaman. After his triumph at the GP of Germany, he had risen in fame to become a new star. On this day, he was able to outshine his more famous and successful team mates like Rudolf Caracciola, Manfred von Brauchitsch and Hermann Lang.
